The brand new Majik 109 of the Scottish business Linn has some properties that support the user in a middle wall installation.

So their vote dispenses with the usual increase in the upper bass range in favour of depth and accuracy. Also sets the 109 on a comparatively lavish volume, as well as a bass reflex system with front outlet.

Acoustically it’s a three-way system with two different sizes (or rather small) dome for a particularly homogeneous omnidirectional in combination with a mesh-reinforced cone.

All branches can be controlled either together or separately. Even an activation by means of electronic filters and six channel power amplifier is possible.

The Scots have also thought of matching stands and wall brackets, if the listener may accommodate its copies on a sideboard or shelf.

Sonically the Majik 109 by Linn were among the few compact, which close clearly better toned the whole wall as free-standing, also still strikingly lively and even smudge-free and without exaggerated upper bass or Sponges in the middle.

Even opponents of speaker positioning close to a wall were given the spacious exact figure into raptures, not to mention the delicious melting of high-frequency and sprawling dynamics.

Congratulations to Scotland, so is great fun high end for small spaces and budgets!
