Google's Tablet 7 Inch Comes to Brazil By

Product is sold in the United States at a price equivalent to about R $400
The Nexus 7 tablet, developed by Google and manufactured by Asus, went on sale this Thursday (24) in Brazil. The site of Magazine Luiza is the only one among the big retailers, offering the product, in the version of 16 GB, with price of R $1,299. Sought by the iG, the Asus and Google does not comment on the arrival of the product to the Country.

The Google tablet is not yet available in other retail stores, like Fast Shop, Fnac, Ponto Frio, Sami and sub. According to the iG found, the arrival of the product at some retail stores of Brazil was scheduled for February. Check out some pics and product details in the photo gallery below:
The Google tablet features 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels, protected by a glass Ultra-durable. It is equipped with 3 Tegra chip with four cores. It has a front-facing camera for video conferencing, and has Wi-Fi connections, Bluetooth and NFC.
The Nexus 7 weighs only 340 grammes and has battery which lasts 9 hours of video playback in high resolution (HD). The product runs the latest version of Android, called 4.1 or Jelly Bean (the product can now be updated to version 4.2 of Android). In the U.S., the product is sold in two versions: with 16 GB or 32 GB of internal memory.
High price
The Nexus 7 arrives in Brazil with high price. In the United States, the tablet is sold for $ $199, some R $400. The American price represents less than a third of the price charged by the Nexus 7 in Brazil.
The high price of the product, including, is of concern to some retailers, since the product will arrive just a little cheaper than rivals with 10 inch screen. “We are still in negotiation with the Asus to try to reduce the price of the product prior to release,” said one of the retailers to iG in early January.
Other products of the line
In addition to the Nexus 7, Google also sells in the US and in other countries the Nexus 10 tablet with 10 inch screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. The product has specifications similar to those of the smaller version of the tablet. He’s sold since November $ $399 for 16 GB of memory and $ $499 for 32 GB of memory. Still no prediction of when the product arrives to the country.
The Nexus 4, smartphone developed in partnership by Google and LG, also has no ETA to Brazil. The device has a processor with four cores, 4.7-inch screen with 320 pixels per inch (ppi). The product is sold unlocked in versions with 8 GB and 16 GB of memory, for $ $299 and $ $349 in the US, respectively.
