India Will Block Pornographic Sites Ending in .xxx

There is not a week that the ICANN approved the domain ending in .xxx. The new TLD (Top Level Domain) is used specifically for adult sites, which have a chance to discriminate to the URL that can not be accessed by children under 18 years (considering the Brazilian legislation).

There in India, however, things are already agreed to avoid this scenario. The domains of this new TLD takes will be summarily blocked by the government, without even asking if the Indians are happy with the initiative. Nothing pr0n to them. And the worst is that this should only be the first country to hold the lock to .xxx.
The Minister of Indian technology said all the letters that the government may order blocking the .xxx sites. Access sexual content is allowed on the land of the sacred cow, but the distribution of such content is not. Both the law and the ministry are against it, and it seems that will act in view of the blockade.
This was an old criticism of people contrary to the TLD .xxx. By labeling all network pages with pornography, the ICANN would facilitate the work of governments that are against this kind of content. And India is not alone, because Indonesia and other Middle Eastern countries possibly trilharão similar way. Just do not know how China has not announced similar blockade.
It is unlikely that any company that owns a .com site whose material is published erotic change your address by a terminated .xxx. Thus, what we have is a duplication of domains – .com and. xxx – that have the same content.
