Samsung Russia Presents Its New Mid-Range Tablets: a Tab and Tab Plus

Without making much noise, Samsung has presented two new tablets in Russia: Galaxy Tab A and Tab A Plus. Thus, confirmed the name change in mid-range devices of Koreans as we saw in mobile months ago. It is now time to move on to the tablets with two screen sizes: 8-inch and 9.7-inch.
The rest of the family, Samsung devices seeks to position these tablets as affordable devices but without neglecting the design or specifications. At the moment we don’t have the complete list of specs but the details that have been give us some idea of what we can expect from it.

Modest features for the mid-range

On the screen we find a panel of 1024 x 768 pixels and a processor Cortex-A53 (Snapdragon 410?) We know little of that at the moment. In the capacity it will have 16 GB base but it is likely that there is another version with more capacity. The cameras will be 5 megapixel camera on the back and 2 on the front. The battery, in the 8 inch model will be 4,200 mAh.
On the Plus model, we only know that you will have more capacity (6000 mAh) battery. In common, it seems that they will have, in addition to the same version of Android, the ratio of screen (4:3), thickness)7.5 mm) and cameras. It is likely to have a more powerful processor and a panel with more resolution since with 9.7 inches size remains a very poor density.
Is also maintained in the two what Samsung calls as metallic design by what we understand that frames will be of such material (as in the A5) and a similar alloy casing. To all this must be added the addition of the Wireless charging that in this price range, and considering how to use a tablet, you can be very attractive.
The price refers to will be around 300 euros but will depend on the model and if we take it with LTE connectivity or not. Taking into account that the presentation has been made today in Russia, it is very likely that throughout the day we will have more news from Spain or Korea.
