1. CARAMELIZED ALMONDS TRADITIONAL

– Ingredients –

  • 1 cup of tea of whole almonds, without skin
  • 1 cup of tea of sugar
  • 1 cup of tea water

– Mode of preparation –

  1. In a small saucepan place the water, sugar, and the almonds and let them caramelize.
  2. Then stir always in simmer until the point the sand and let the sugar get to the almonds.
  3. Then, place the almonds on a silicone mat and separate the almonds frantically with a wooden spoon.
  4. After you separate it, let it cool completely. Store in boxes hermetically closed.

2. CARAMELIZED ALMONDS WITH JELLY RICE

– Ingredients –

  • 200 g of almonds
  • 2 tablespoons of jelly, and rice
  • 1 coffee spoon of vanilla powder (optional)

– Mode of preparation –

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees.
  2. In a frying pan sauté the almonds over medium heat for tostem slightly.
  3. Join the jelly of the rice and wrap it well with the almonds. Turn off the heat.
  4. Transfer the almonds to a baking tray and bake for 10 to 15 minutes. The time will depend on the type of oven.
  5. When they are golden, remove the almonds from the oven and allow to cool completely. Store in a jar hermetically closed.

5. CARAMELIZED ALMONDS WITH HONEY

Although they are also calorie as the ones that are prepared with sugar, this honey is more healthy.

– Ingredients –

  • 1 cup of almonds
  • ¼ Cup of honey
  • 1 pinch of salt

– Mode of preparation –

  1. Bring to medium heat a pan with the almonds, add the salt, the honey and mix well.
  2. Stir until the me is boiling and start to caramelize. Let this process for 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Last time, transfer the caramelized almonds to a baking paper, let it cool and ready.

4. CARAMELIZED ALMONDS IN THE THERMOMIX

To finalize, you can prepare the caramelized almonds in the Thermomix to save time.

– Ingredients –

  • 100 g of almond kernels without skin
  • 45 g sugar yellow
  • 5 g of butter at room temperature
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 5 g of water

– Mode of preparation –

  1. Place in the cup of the almonds, the butter, the sugar and the cinnamon. Schedule 5 min./Varoma/vel. 1/spoon reverse.
  2. Add the water and set 7 min./Varoma/vel 1/spoon reverse.
  3. Lay on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake in the oven pre-heated to 180 degrees for about 15 minutes, stir half way through, lowering the temperature.
