MBA Studies in Switzerland

About the MBA degree in Switzerland: Here too, the study program you have chosen (whether MBA or Master) should belong to a generally recognized institution. And of course a good reputation is also important. The International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, the University of St. Gallen, the Executive MBA of the University of Zurich and also the Rochester-Bern Executive MBA are very good examples.

In any case, you should pay attention to the GMAT score of the respective school. To do this, the MBA applicants must take a test. The school’s total score is calculated based on the average result of all students admitted to the respective school each year. The maximum achievable is 700. If an MBA school does not require such a test, you should exercise caution. In principle, those schools are recommended that have a GMAT score of over 690. In general, there are around 30 universities, technical colleges and business schools in Switzerland that offer over 60 MBA and master’s degree programs.

The consistently interesting university landscape convinces with first-class facilities and mostly very personal support. However, when choosing a course, you should definitely take into account the high program fees and the cost of living. In addition to the MBA and EMBA, you can also complete the so-called Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Switzerland, which is considered an alternative to further education in the field of master’s programs. You can find information about the MAS in our forum and also in one of our blog articles.

Below we list some schools in Switzerland and their diverse range of MBA and master’s degree programs. To search for a special program, please select your desired field of study in the selection field above and then use the various search filters to limit the results list individually.

Many of these schools located in Switzerland also offer different master programs (for example with the MAS, M.Sc. and MA degrees).
