The first days were extremely difficult. First you have to find accommodation and actually a car (it’s difficult without it), which turned out to be more difficult than expected. A very big minus also goes to the area of choosing the lectures. Here, as an international student or ALI student, it is extremely difficult to get into the desired courses. Some professors just say they don’t want internationals and that’s it! In view of the fact that we pay more than twice as much tuition as the locals, that’s a big cheek. See andyeducation for Brock University Study Abroad.
I also have to criticize something about MicroEdu, namely in the Toefl test. The on-site test costs nothing and is a lot easier than the test in Germany. You could mention that!
But that’s the only thing, otherwise I would like to thank you again for everything!
The time in San Diego was also wonderful and will certainly never be forgotten.
You have to do a bit of work for the exams, but the content is not as demanding as in Germany! I didn’t push myself too hard when it came to learning and I dropped out with a B everywhere, except for the sports courses. Fits! Without a doubt, the focus is on having a good time and getting to know the country and the people -> and I did that!!!
